Last week I had my research speech where we went over and updated our classmates on our interview experiences, research we've been gathering, and our original work progress. I thought my speech went very well and I was able to say everything I wanted to in a good amount of time. I was very excited to share my passion for speech-language pathology, and after my speech, I was so happy to hear that my classmates were interested in my findings as well. The next big project we have coming up is our original work as well as our research showcase. I've been working on my guest list where I plan on inviting my mentor, family, friends, and teachers who have helped me grow into my best self over the years. Additionally, this week I plan on talking to my ISM teacher, Coach Goff, about who I want to pick for my mentor. I'm very excited for that next process, and I hope that the professional that I ask says yes, because I would really love to know more about her work. In ISM I will continue to pursue my research in speech pathology, and I'm eager to gather more information.
