This week we're finalizing our original work to turn in on Friday. My idea is to create a children's board game to help with specific speech impediments. For our final product, I'm going to attempt to make a 3D model, but for now, I'm planning all my thinking on a poster board to show the class. I've gathered a handful of knowledge reading assessments and going through the interview process, discussing how children need lots of entertainment because of their lack of attention span. That is why my goal is to create a fun-themed game with characters, obstacles, and much more exciting add ons. Additionally this week I'll be meeting with my official mentor, Ariel Vovakes. I'm so excited to talk with her about the mentorship process and be able to work with her. She's a part of private practice, which is what I want to go into rather than a hospital or school. This week I've also been trying to organize my website, so it has no errors. When people go on it I want to make sure it carries all information such as my contact, discusses who I am as a person and worker, as well as all my documents.
