How the Mentoring Process is Going

November 28, 2021

Before Thanksgiving Break, I spoke with one of the professionals I interviewed to ask if she would be willing to mentor me throughout the year. She seemed very excited about this opportunity for both of us but needed to double-check with her company to make sure she would be available in order to benefit me in the best way. I appreciated her interest, and she says she'll keep me updated and let me know if she can. I'll most likely try to contact her this week in order to just quickly check-in to see if she's received any updates so we can get started. Additionally, over break, I worked on my original work for many hours. This is not my 3D board game, but it is a 2D representation that I'm very pleased to share because I think it could be very beneficial for future speech patients. I also plan on redoing my website theme soon. It seems a little boring and I want it to be something that grabs the audience's attention to make them interested in getting to know me as a speech pathologist. With December almost here, we have lots of great opportunities happening for ISM.
